Kaist Youth Startup Investment Holdings (KVI) said on the 9th that it was finally selected as the operating agency for the "2026 public-private partnership accelerating (AC) program" promoted by the Yongin Industry Promotion Agency and will begin in earnest to push the AC program based on the agency's startup support center.
This project was promoted to systematically foster tenant corporations at the startup support center and startup corporations in the Yongin area by leveraging the expertise of private ACs. The two agencies will build and operate an integrated AC system this year centered on three bases: the Yongin Yeokbuk, Dongbaek, and Yeongdeok startup support centers.
In particular, beyond the existing support method centered on individual centers, it will strengthen an industry-specialized incubation and investment linkage system tied to Yongin's strategic industries. Tailored support will be provided by growth stage, focusing on startups in regional strategic industries such as semiconductors, AI, and biohealth.
KVI will systematically carry out ▲ recruitment and selection of tenant corporations ▲ tailored mentoring and consulting for business diagnostics and growth strategy development by corporation ▲ strengthening IR capabilities and promoting demo days ▲ hosting inter-corporation exchange events and strategy forums ▲ supporting participation in exhibitions. Beyond simple space support, the core is to build an integrated AC model that connects technology, commercialization, and consolidation, and the program will be operated based on the support system jointly designed by KVI and the Yongin Industry Promotion Agency.
Recruitment is also underway for tenant corporations for the 2026 Yongin Industry Promotion Agency startup support center. Eligible applicants are corporations less than seven years from business start as of the announcement date and prospective founders. After checking the recruitment fields and detailed eligibility requirements for each center, applicants can apply. The application deadline is by 4 p.m. on Mar. 13.
