Park Jeong-won, chairman of Doosan Group, visited the site of North America's largest construction equipment exhibition, "CONEXPO 2026."
According to Doosan on the 8th, Chairman Park visited CONEXPO 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada, the United States, to review competitiveness in the construction equipment sector. CONEXPO is considered one of the world's three major construction machinery exhibitions, along with Germany's Bauma and France's Intermat.
After visiting the Doosan Bobcat and Doosan Mottrol booths, Chairman Park also toured the pavilions of global competitors. In particular, he closely checked each company's AI-based productivity improvement plans and the commercialization status of unmanned technologies.
Chairman Park said, "As the pace of development in AI technologies applied to construction equipment and worksites accelerates, the landscape of the construction equipment market, which used to prioritize hardware capabilities, is changing," and added, "Let's present the future of construction equipment and lead the market with differentiated AI technologies based on Doosan Bobcat's data."
At this exhibition, Doosan Bobcat, which showcased about 30 advanced products including compact loaders and excavators, unveiled a brand strategy to split its compact loader lineup into entry-level (Classic) and premium (Pro) tiers. Compact loaders are Doosan Bobcat's core product group.
