Doosan Enerbility said on the 6th that it signed a contract with a U.S. corporations to supply seven 380 MW-class gas turbines. Doosan Enerbility plans to supply one set of a gas turbine and generator each month in sequence starting in May 2029 for the data center this corporations is building.
Including this contract, Doosan Enerbility will supply a total of 12 gas turbines to the United States. The backdrop for Doosan Enerbility's rapid expansion of gas turbine orders in the United States includes its proven performance, fast delivery, and service support from its local U.S. subsidiary.
After succeeding in localizing large gas turbines in 2019, it completed 17,000 hours of demonstration operation, securing technological reliability. Including this contract, it has won orders for a total of 23 units to date, proving its competitiveness. The gas turbine maintenance and repair capabilities of its subsidiary in Houston, DTS (Doosan Turbomachinery Services), are also bolstering orders.
