Hyundai Motor said on Mar. 5 it has released the 2027 Ioniq 9, a model-year update of the electrified full-size sport utility vehicle.
Hyundai Motor added second-row ventilated seats and second-row swiveling seats (capable of 180-degree rotation) as standard on the base Exclusive trim, applied water-repellent front glass on the main Prestige trim, and made third-row heated seats standard on the top Calligraphy trim.
It also expanded features such as metal pedals and metal door scuff plates (door sill protection panels), previously available only on the top trim, to the Prestige trim to enhance the premium feel.
Hyundai Motor is newly offering a Calligraphy trim–exclusive "Black Ink Package." The Black Ink Package applies black accents to the skid plates, wheels, emblem, and crash pad (entire upper dashboard), creating a refined and dynamic look.
With tax benefits applied, the 2027 Ioniq 9 is priced for the 7-seater at ▲ Exclusive 67.59 million won ▲ Prestige 73.25 million won ▲ Calligraphy 78.11 million won. The 6-seater is ▲ Exclusive 68.17 million won ▲ Prestige 73.74 million won ▲ Calligraphy 79.60 million won.
A Hyundai Motor official said, "For the Ioniq 9 Exclusive trim, considering national subsidies and local subsidies, the vehicle can be purchased in the low-60 million-won range."
Launched on Feb. last year, the Ioniq 9 is Hyundai Motor's electrified flagship SUV. It maximizes interior space with a class-leading wheelbase and secures a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge across all models.
