The National Tax Service has launched a regular tax audit of Doosan Co., Ltd. It is the first in five years since 2021.
According to industry sources on the 4th, the National Tax Service's Investigation Bureau 1 began a regular tax audit of Doosan Co., Ltd. starting today.
Doosan has formed a response team with KIM&CHANG and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (DTTL) Anjin LLC and is responding to the audit. This audit is said to cover Doosan Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries.
Based on the Framework Act on National Taxes, the National Tax Service conducts regular tax audits on a five-year cycle, in principle, to review faithful tax filing by corporations with annual revenue of 200 billion won or more. Doosan Co., Ltd. also underwent regular tax audits in 2021 and 2015.
