Chokwang Paint posts loss as construction slump, exports hit Korea sales

Chokwang Paint posted an operating loss last year due to a slump in the construction market and a decline in exports.

Chokwang Paint said revenue came to 202.6 billion won last year. That was down 18.29% from a year earlier.

It swung to an operating loss of 19.5 billion won in the same period.

A Chokwang Paint official said, "Revenue shrank due to a slump in the construction market and a decline in exports, and accordingly the operating margin also fell."
