Home&Shopping said on the 24th that it will continue its profit‑sharing program in 2026 totaling 600 million won to support small and midsize partner companies struggling with an economic slowdown and weaker consumer spending.
The profit‑sharing program is a win‑win system that moves beyond simply splitting profits with high‑performing partners and focuses on easing losses for partners facing management burdens because broadcast sales efficiency fell short of expectations. Home&Shopping plans to provide support this year to a total of 74 partner companies.
Home&Shopping has run the profit‑sharing program since 2013, when it began generating significant profits after launching in 2012. Through this, it has delivered a cumulative 7.3 billion won in support to 780 small and midsize partner companies to help create a stable management environment and strengthen competitiveness.
Partners said it is helping not only to secure financial soundness but also to create a virtuous cycle that leads to product quality improvements and investment in technology development.
To build cooperative relationships with small and midsize companies and expand distribution channels, Home&Shopping has also operated the "Shared Growth Market" program since 2021. The Shared Growth Market has been run continuously not only to help small and midsize companies and small business owners develop sales channels and reduce product sales commissions but also to expand small and midsize company revenue and clear inventory through broadcast sales.
Home&Shopping said it will strengthen corporate social responsibility while practicing shared growth with small partners and principle‑based management. A Home&Shopping official said, "When a downturn starts, the places that struggle the most are small and midsize companies," and added, "We will continue to be Home&Shopping, which provides more practical help and works to establish and operate support policies so that small partners can manage their finances stably and small and midsize companies can weather a downturn."
