Noroo Paint said on the 23rd that it launched "Noroo Smart Mix," an AI-based automatic color-matching service for paint specialty stores.
Noroo Smart Mix is an AI service that automatically calculates the tinting formula ratios that meet the selected paint product, specification, and color. The service supports the calculations and decisions needed in the color-matching process based on data and algorithms. This allows stores to handle color-matching work in real time and build a faster, more accurate work environment.
In particular, it offers both a high-chroma tinting formula that prioritizes color accuracy and a standard tinting formula designed for efficiency while maintaining a similar color standard, enabling users to choose the best color-matching strategy.
Noroo Smart Mix is also designed with an intuitive structure so that users with limited color-matching experience can use it easily. Users can proceed with color-matching design by sequentially selecting product family, gloss, and specification based on water-based paint, then entering a color name or color number. Major color book shades can also be checked immediately through the search function.
A color-matching history management feature also improves practical convenience. Each agency's mixing results are saved automatically, and users can retrieve and use existing data for repetitive tasks. The mixing results can be printed and applied on-site immediately.
Noroo Paint will first launch Noroo Smart Mix as a dedicated service for water-based paint and plans to expand it to a wide range of products, including solvent-based paint, in the future.
