Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) said on the 18th it is recruiting implementing agencies for the "global shopping mall utilization sales support project" to expand online exports by small and midsize enterprises.
The project provides support for the entire process from listing to sales to help small and midsize enterprises enter overseas shopping malls. It supports early market entry through training, consulting, and product page creation, and then backs sales growth with marketing support such as content production and special promotions.
Eligible participants as implementing agencies are global shopping mall operators or official partners of global shopping malls that have at least three dedicated staff members for online export and marketing. Selected implementing agencies will jointly raise the project budget with government subsidies and self-funding to support participating corporations' online exports.
Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) plans to evaluate listing success rates and sales performance to check the service quality of implementing agencies and reflect the results in selecting them.
Applications can be submitted online on the Gobiz Korea website by 6 p.m. on the 27th.
Kang Seok-jin, chair of Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), said, "By partnering with global shopping malls that have proven capabilities and stability, we will lower the barriers for small and midsize enterprises to expand overseas and systematically support the entire online export process from entering the global market to generating sales results."
