On the 13th, according to the sangjo industry, the Korea Sangjo Industry Association (KSIA) held an inauguration and retirement ceremony for the head at the 8th regular general meeting on the 9th. New head Moon Ho-sang said he would build the foundation of the sangjo industry, which has grown to 10 trillion won in advance payments and 10 million subscribers, and lead the association's integration and the industry's joint development.
In his inaugural address, Head Moon said, "It is time for the sangjo industry, which has established itself as an essential domestic industry, to move beyond quantitative growth to a stage of qualitative growth based on industrial advancement and trust."
He added, "As a true business organization, the association must represent the industry and member companies and faithfully serve as a bridge with the government, the National Assembly, and related agencies," and "We will speak with one voice on common industry issues and work to improve systems and create policy environments necessary for industrial promotion."
He also noted, "We will strengthen public interest and accountability and secure future growth engines through the discovery of new service models and digital transformation."
He also pledged to push for institutional improvements and policy cooperation for industrial development. The aim is to enhance the industry's sustainability by improving the overall structure of the industry, including creating a fair competitive environment, advancing consumer protection systems, and strengthening information protection and risk management.
Moon said, "The next 10 years will be a decisive period for the sangjo industry to establish itself as a truly essential industry based on public trust," adding, "The association will become the focal point of industrial development and, together with member companies, open the next 10 years of the lifecare industry centered on coexistence, innovation, and responsibility."
