HD Hyundai Heavy Industries said on the 13th that it paid a total of 200 billion won in bonuses to in-house partner company employees.
Including 500,000 won in holiday travel expenses, the amount comes to as much as 12 million won per person, the largest in the industry, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries said.
HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, which maintained bonus support for in-house partner companies even when market conditions were weak, expanded this year's bonus payments to share business performance and narrow gaps with partner companies.
HD Hyundai Heavy Industries is the only company in the industry that also provides holiday travel expenses and free breakfast, lunch and dinner to in-house partner company employees. It also operates various welfare programs, including tuition support.
An HD Hyundai Heavy Industries official said, "Partner companies are companions who build the shipbuilding industry's competitiveness together," and added, "We will continue to expand practical co-prosperity measures that can be felt in the field."
