Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) said on the 11th that it appointed Yoo Cheol-geun as the new auditor. Yoo's term as auditor is two years, through Feb. 10, 2028.
Yoo, born in 1957, graduated from the business administration department of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and completed a master's course at the Kyunghee University Graduate School of Business. As a certified public accountant, Yoo served as auditor for the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation and, after serving as chair of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, held the auditor post at Changhae Ethanol.
Under the Act on the Management of Public Institutions, the auditor of Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC) is appointed by the president upon the recommendation of the Minister, after multiple candidates are recommended by the executive recommendation committee and deliberated and resolved by the Public Institution Management Committee.
