Volvo Car Korea said on the 6th that its flagship sedan S90 T8 won in the "hybrid sedan" category at the 2026 Korea Car of the Year awards organized by the Association of Women Auto Journalists Korea (AWAK).
The S90, along with the XC90, is Volvo Cars' top-tier model. In particular, the T8 trim is equipped with a plug-in hybrid engine. With an 18.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, it can drive in pure electric mode for up to 65 km on a single charge.
Reflecting demand for models that serve as both a business sedan and a family car, Volvo Cars said it secured best-in-class habitability (3,060 mm wheelbase).
It also comes with top-tier convenience features such as Volvo Car UX, the brand's next-generation user experience, a Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) high-fidelity sound system, a rear-seat luxury armrest, and power-operated rear side sun blinds and a rear sun curtain.
