LG posts mixed 2025 results as operating profit falls and net profit jumps

LG said in a filing on Feb. 5 that last year's sales on a consolidation basis were 725.25 billion won, up 1.1% from a year earlier, and operating profit was 91.21 billion won, down 5.7%, on a preliminary basis. Net profit rose 26.5% to 1 trillion won.

Fourth-quarter sales were 152.25 billion won, down 14.6% from a year earlier, and the company swung to an operating loss of 421.6 billion won. Over the same period, it also swung to a net loss of 225.9 billion won.
