Public relations agency Welcome Associates said on the 2nd that it recently completed a transfer to a new headquarters in Chungjeongno, Seoul. Welcome plans to use this transfer as a springboard to focus on expanding its business portfolio and nurturing talent.
Welcome's Chungjeongno headquarters has six floors above ground and two below, and was designed as an open workspace combined with studio functions. This allows for seamless execution not only of work and rest but also of social and digital content production.
Welcome emphasized that the transfer of its headquarters is not a simple expansion of office space but the establishment of a base to enhance content execution. In particular, based on capabilities in communication with the media, issue management, and strategic communication, the company plans to strengthen services that plan, produce, and operate brands' and corporations' messages in forms optimized for various channels.
Welcome employs consultants in charge of corporations' messages, brand and marketing experts, sports marketing specialists, and public IMC personnel responsible for policy and public communication. It is also expanding investment in talent development by introducing job-specific training curricula and a senior-centered coaching and review system.
Yang Seung-deok, Welcome's CEO, said, "This expansion is a decision that signifies strengthening competitiveness not by relying on specific production capabilities, but by combining media content execution with the capabilities of specialized personnel accumulated in each area of our existing business."
