Life curator Boram Group said on the 29th that it will introduce travel products exclusively for companion animals.
Boram Group signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Petsgo Travel to develop travel products that allow trips with companion animals. Chief Executive Lee Chang-u of Boram Funeral Development and Chief Executive Lee Tae-gyu of Petsgo Travel, among other key executives and staff, attended the signing.
Petsgo Travel is a travel agency specializing in trips with companion animals, founded in 2016. Through its "Petsgo" service, it offers lodging and travel product development and trains professional guides.
Boram Funeral Services entered the companion animal market in 2023. It launched "Sky Pet," a funeral product exclusively for companion animals, and "Petsvia," a bio-jewel. Boram Funeral Services sees this travel product plan as an important inflection point that will open the era of "total pet care," managing the entire life cycle of companion animals beyond funerals and memorials.
With this agreement, Boram Group and Petsgo Travel plan to discuss developing products for partnership discounts and conversion services. They aim to launch official products in the first half of this year.
A Boram Group official said, "As more customers regard companion animals as members of the family, demand for related services is rising as well," and added, "Through cooperation with Petsgo Travel, we will deliver more diverse experiential value to customers and create an environment where they can enjoy leisure with peace of mind."
