Hyundai Glovis held a management performance conference call on the 29th and announced its fourth-quarter and full-year results for 2025.
According to the filing that day, Hyundai Glovis recorded sales of 7.472 trillion won and operating profit of 508.2 billion won in the fourth quarter of 2025. Compared with the same period last year, these figures increased by 2.5% and 10.6%, respectively. Net income reached 440.4 billion won.
On an annual basis, total sales for 2025 were 29.5664 trillion won and operating profit was 2.073 trillion won. These represent increases of 4.1% and 18.3% year on year. The operating margin was 7.0%, and net income was 1.7347 trillion won, marking record highs for all management indicators.
With this, Hyundai Glovis exceeded the performance guidance provided early last year for the convenience of investors, demonstrating its global business capabilities. The guidance was for sales of 28 trillion to 29 trillion won and operating profit of 1.8 trillion to 1.9 trillion won.
A Hyundai Glovis official said, "Last year, uncertainty across the business environment was very high as variables such as a global economic slowdown, tariff policies and other changes in the trade environment, and a strengthening trend of protectionism acted in combination," and added, "Even amid these domestic and external business conditions, by actively pursuing business with the core pillars of "growth through asset expansion" and "expanding non-affiliate customers," we achieved record performance."
By business segment, logistics recorded sales of 2.5336 trillion won and operating profit of 164.6 billion won in the fourth quarter. For the year, sales were 10.0825 trillion won and operating profit was 753.4 billion won. Year on year, sales rose 2% while operating profit fell 9%. Results were affected by a slight increase in global finished vehicle sales while container freight market conditions were somewhat weak.
Shipping's fourth-quarter sales and operating profit were 1.4616 trillion won and 212.3 billion won, respectively. For 2025 as a whole, sales were 5.4014 trillion won and operating profit was 745.1 billion won, increases of 5% and 104% year on year. Growth in non-affiliate customers such as China and improved operational efficiency from rationalizing fleet operations contributed to the strong performance.
In distribution, fourth-quarter sales were 3.4768 trillion won and operating profit was 131.3 billion won. Annual results showed sales of 14.0825 trillion won and operating profit of 574.5 billion won. These figures represent increases of 5% and 3% year on year, driven by the start of mass production at a new U.S. plant and the beginning of exports to assembly plants in emerging markets for technical support.
Hyundai Glovis decided to sharply raise the 2025 year-end dividend so that excellent business performance is passed on to shareholders, setting the dividend at 5,800 won per share, a 57% increase from the previous year. Shareholders listed in the shareholder register by March 31 will be paid in April.
With a payout ratio of 25.1%, this aligns with the three-year (2025–2027) dividend policy announced at the 2024 CEO investor day and also meets the government's separate taxation criteria for dividend income (a payout ratio of 40% or more, or a payout ratio of 25% and an increase of 10% or more year on year). Hyundai Glovis plans to continue to consider whether it meets the separate taxation criteria for dividend income as an important factor when formulating dividend policy.
Hyundai Glovis is determined to stably pursue its business in 2026 amid an uncertain business environment by continuing its existing management approach of growth through asset expansion and expanding non-affiliate customers. It also plans to focus investment on securing new growth engines such as artificial intelligence (AI) robotics in preparation for future growth.
Taking overall management conditions into account, Hyundai Glovis's 2026 performance guidance is for sales of at least 31 trillion won and operating profit of at least 2.1 trillion won.
