Hyundai Motor (including Genesis) and Kia will provide free special inspections at both companies' nationwide service centers from Feb. 11 to 13 for the Lunar New Year holiday.
This Lunar New Year special inspection consists of basic item checks (brake pads·air conditioning·tires·lighting devices), engine compartment checks (oils·coolant·washer fluid·battery), and EV-specific checks (coolant and high-voltage battery). Washer fluid will also be provided free of charge as an additional service after the inspection.
Those who want to receive the free inspection can obtain free inspection coupons from Feb. 2 to 4 through each brand's customer service applications such as myHyundai, Hyundai Certified (HyundaiCertified), Kia App, and MYGENESIS.
Hyundai Motor/Genesis customers can visit nationwide Bluehands, and Kia customers can visit company service centers and Auto Q, present the free inspection coupon, and receive the inspection.
A Hyundai Motor·Kia official said the free inspection service was provided to help customers have a safe trip home and said the companies will continue to prioritize customer safety and further strengthen customer services such as vehicle inspections.
