DN Solutions, the world's No. 3 and Korea's No. 1 machine tool corporations, said on the 28th it has successfully completed the acquisition of Germany's high-end premium machine tool specialist HELLER Group.
DN Solutions disclosed that it acquired 100% equity of HELLER for about 324.3 billion won. The transaction received approval from regulators in relevant countries requiring clearance, including Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom.
HELLER, corporations launched in 1894 in Nürtingen, Germany, possesses world-class technological prowess in machining centers specialized for high-difficulty, ultra-precision processes, DN Solutions said.
Through this acquisition, DN Solutions plans to secure machining center technology that HELLER has accumulated over about 130 years and strengthen its product lineup to solidify its status as a high-end premium brand in the global machine tool market.
HELLER has built a stable supply chain around more than 30 subsidiaries worldwide and five production bases in Europe, Asia and the Americas, enabling DN Solutions' service network to become broader and denser.
DN Solutions plans to continue strategic investment in HELLER's Nürtingen and major overseas production facilities to maximize product competitiveness and customer support capabilities.
With this acquisition, DN Solutions' consolidation sales are expected to expand to about 3 trillion won. Based on 2024, it will increase by more than 40% from consolidation sales of about 2.1 trillion won.
Going forward, DN Solutions plans to focus its capabilities on integration work to build a shared culture between the two corporations and secure strong cohesion.
It will establish a clear roadmap for joint development and innovation across the value chain and create synergies in R&D, marketing, service and production institutional sector.
The Seoul International Manufacturing Technology Show (SIMTOS 2026), to be held in Seoul in Apr., will be the first official event that DN Solutions and HELLER attend together. DN Solutions said it will use it as a starting point to fully showcase the two companies' synergy to the market.
