LG Energy Solution said on the 27th that it held the "2026 Partners Day" on the 26th with more than 80 partner companies involved in major battery materials, components and equipment at home and abroad.
Kim Dong-myung, president of LG Energy Solution, said in a welcome address, "The energy storage system (ESS) business posted strong revenue growth and signed multiple large-scale project contracts, making this year more meaningful than ever," adding, "These results were possible thanks to the active support and cooperation of our partners."
Kim went on to say, "This year, we plan to focus on turning our efforts into tangible results through portfolio rebalancing and operational efficiency," adding, "To seize opportunities in the fast-growing ESS market, we will strengthen product diversity and supply stability, and in electric vehicles, we will manage profitability and risk in a stable manner while firmly building mid- to long-term product competitiveness."
Kim said, "The word 'crisis' is derived from the Greek noun Krisis and verb Krino and means a 'turning point,'" adding, "With firm trust and cooperation, let's join forces to turn the industry's current adjustment phase into an opportunity for greater growth."
At the event, LG Energy Solution shared its management strategy for this year and its mid- to long-term vision with partners. Executives from each division took the stage as presenters to share ▲ changes in global policies and key regulations ▲ global market outlook and business strategy direction ▲ research and development roadmap ▲ quality management strategy ▲ procurement and operations strategy, laying out concrete execution plans to create differentiated value in a rapidly changing market environment.
In particular, LG Energy Solution said the global battery market has entered a "value shift" period in which value is being realigned beyond electric vehicles to industries such as ESS, and stressed that to respond preemptively to this trend, the company must focus its capabilities on innovating customer experience based on overwhelming quality and technological prowess.
The event, held in Yeouido, Seoul, was attended by representatives from more than 80 partner companies involved in major battery materials, components and equipment for LG Energy Solution. From LG Energy Solution, key executives including President Kim; Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Executive Vice President Kang Chang-beom; Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Executive Vice President Kim Je-young; Chief Quality Officer (CQO) Executive Vice President Jeong Jae-han; and Head of Procurement Center Executive Vice President Lee Kang-yeol attended, underscoring the company's commitment to win-win growth with partners.
