Hongcheon County, Gangwon Province, will apply artificial intelligence (AI) technology across its civil complaint administration to improve administrative efficiency.
Hongcheon County and SmartMindAI, an AI solution corporations, said on the 26th that they signed a memorandum of understanding for a pilot project on an "AI civil complaint integrated management system."
The agreement was carried out to improve the efficiency of civil complaint administration with AI technology and provide high-quality civil complaint services. Under the agreement, the parties will cooperate on ▲ jointly promoting the pilot project for the AI civil complaint integrated management system ▲ mutual cooperation for collecting civil complaint data and developing AI models ▲ technical consulting and test operation support needed for system construction and operation ▲ advancement of AI-based civil complaint administration services.
The introduced "AI civil complaint integrated management system" aims to make the entire process intelligent, from complaint intake to staff assignment and answer generation. Hongcheon County plans to automate repetitive civil complaint tasks to reduce public officials' work fatigue and improve their focus. It will provide fast and accurate administrative services to complainants.
Through empirical data accumulated from this pilot project, the county will improve the system's completeness and explore the possibility of expansion to other local governments in the future.
Hongcheon County Chief Sin Yeong-jae said, "We will work together to make this joint pilot project with SmartMindAI a model for innovation in civil complaint administration that can spread beyond Hongcheon County to local governments nationwide," adding, "We will continue to advance civil complaint services so residents can feel the improvements."
