Healthcare robot corporations Bodyfriend said on the 22nd it released the AI healthcare robot "Davinci AI," which can raise health intelligence.
The core feature of Davinci AI is that it measures and analyzes users' real-time biometric data and has AI recommend the most suitable massage program. While receiving a massage, users can use the tablet remote to check biometric indicators, including a fatigue index, and the reasons the AI recommends each massage program.
Davinci AI measures key biometric indicators such as heart rate (HR), heart rate variability (HRV), and oxygen saturation (SpO₂) with a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor installed at the index finger position inside the hand massage unit. It analyzes the measured indicators to assess users' fatigue and tension levels, and the AI links them through consolidation to propose the optimal massage program to help them recover.
Davinci AI helps with user calm and relaxation by offering a "heart rate entrainment music care" feature that adjusts the tempo (BPM) in five steps according to measured heart rate and heart rate variability and plays music. Real-time biometric data is provided in a dashboard format, enabling steady tracking and management of one's health status.
Users can also receive AI-recommended massages based on gender, age, height, and weight. The AI analyzes big data of body information learned through Deep Learning to recommend massage programs that fit the user's body.
A feature was also applied that analyzes temperament information from East and West, such as Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) and zodiac signs, with AI to identify tendencies and recommend and provide matching massages. Through statistical analysis, users can receive massages tailored to their preferences and temperament, and daily changing fortune content is also provided for entertainment value.
Because it contains important personal body data, security and safety were also prioritized. For security, a 10.4-inch tablet adopts user facial recognition and PIN login. Including the leg massage unit, a total of 17 safety sensors were installed on each moving part to strengthen safety. It also supports over-the-air (OTA) wireless software updates and smartphone wireless charging.
A Bodyfriend official said, "Davinci AI is an AI healthcare robot that not only provides massages but also adds AI functions that analyze biosignals to provide optimal solutions," adding, "We will manage the biometric data of modern people suffering from persistent fatigue and tension and continue to provide customized solutions."
