Mercedes-Benz Korea said on the 22nd it will launch 10 new models this year, including electric vehicles.
The four electric vehicles Mercedes-Benz Korea will unveil in Korea this year are the the all-new electric CLA, the the all-new CLA hybrid, the the all-new electric GLC, and the the all-new electric GLB. The first models to launch will be the the all-new electric CLA and the the all-new CLA hybrid, which will be the first to feature the new operating system MB.OS. With generative artificial intelligence (AI) applied, it assists the driver in real time.
Mercedes-Benz Korea will also launch the all-new electric GLC and the all-new electric GLB, both electric sport utility vehicles (SUVs), in the second half of the year. The the all-new electric GLC is the electrified version of Mercedes-Benz's best-selling GLC. It is the first to adopt the EV-dedicated MB.EA and offers improved space utilization. The the all-new electric GLB is based on the MMA platform. Built on MB.OS, it provides an intuitive digital experience and long-distance driving performance, Mercedes-Benz Korea said.
In addition, Mercedes-Benz Korea said it will introduce six facelifted models in Korea, including in the S-Class and SUV segments.
Starting in the first half of this year, it will also roll out a new vehicle sales model called "Retail of the Future." The key is to integrate the inventories and pricing structures that previously varied by 11 dealers so customers can purchase vehicles under the same terms anywhere nationwide. Mercedes-Benz Korea said centralized sales and marketing activities will streamline dealer operations and further improve efficiency.
It will also strengthen corporate social responsibility activities. The Mercedes-Benz Corporate Social Responsibility Committee is running five programs, including child traffic safety, industry-academia cooperation, and employee volunteering. Last year it donated 1.5 billion won to support the establishment of a child protection agency and hosted the 12th "Give 'N Race" with 20,000 citizens. This year it will newly introduce the climate action program Green Plus alongside the 13th Give 'N Race and the Give 'N Dream scholarship program.
