Chang In-hwa, chairman of POSCO Group, will attend the World Economic Forum annual meeting (Davos Forum) in Davos, Switzerland, starting on the 19th to seek new business opportunities. Following 2025, this is the second visit this year.
According to POSCO Group on the 21st, Chang is expected to attend the Mining & Metals Governors Meeting on the 22nd and emphasize the need to expand cooperation across the entire global supply chain and to decarbonize steel through technological innovation.
Chief executives (CEOs) of major global steelmakers and raw material companies will gather at the Mining & Metals Governors Meeting. In a keynote speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit in Oct. last year, Chang also emphasized the importance of multilateral cooperation and solidarity to build a sustainable and resilient global supply chain.
Meanwhile, POSCO Group is operating the POSCO Pavilion during the Davos Forum to support business meetings with major corporations and to promote the excellence of POSCO's hydrogen direct reduction steelmaking technology.
