Twohands, which operates Poomgo, a fulfillment service that handles everything from incoming stock to delivery, said on the 21st that it posted annual revenue of 66.7 billion won last year. It was a record high, up 51% from the previous year.
Poomgo stayed in the black every month last year. Annual shipment volume rose 53% in Korea and 459% for Japan. By embedding artificial intelligence (AI) across company operations, it reduced cost of goods sold per order by 4.1% from a year earlier.
AI-driven operational efficiencies and integration with e-commerce platforms at home and abroad powered the results. Twohands adopted AI for shipment forecasting, in-house work support, and site organization specialization to raise operating efficiency across fulfillment centers and the central organization.
With shipment-forecasting technology that analyzes order patterns by client, it proactively optimized staffing and vehicle allocation, and it cut repetitive tasks and operational risk with a natural language-based work support AI.
It also delivered results in service expansion. By integrating with Cafe24 "daily delivery," Gmarket "seller star delivery," and imweb brand mall fast delivery, it offers next-day delivery seven days a week. Overseas, based on its "Japan delivery guaranteed in 5 days," it joined the eBay Fulfillment Alliance and Qoo10 Japan "KanDasshu," boosting competitiveness.
Poomgo's compliance rate for its "five promises guarantee" averaged 99.9% last year. The five promises guarantee refers to same-day shipment for B2C (corporations-consumer transaction), adherence to ship dates for B2B (corporations-to-corporations transaction), compensation for delivery accidents, same-day receiving, and inventory accuracy assurance.
