VCNC, the operator of mobility platform TADA, said on the 12th that it will expand the operating scale of the "Seoul mom-and-dad taxi" and also hold a "Expectant mom TADA" event for pregnant women.
TADA plans to expand the number of "Seoul mom-and-dad taxi" vehicles it operates with Seoul this year to as many as 500 throughout the year. That is an increase of 200 vehicles from about 300 last year, allowing more families with children to use the service. In addition, it will begin a pilot operation in the first quarter of vehicles equipped with two car seats.
It also provided user benefits. "Seoul mom-and-dad taxi" users will receive a basic 5,000-won coupon, and families with multiple children or single-parent families will receive an additional 5,000-won coupon. Users who get off after using the mom-and-dad taxi will be given a separate 5,000-won reservation-only coupon. "Seoul mom-and-dad taxi" can be requested through "Mongttang information omnipotent key," Seoul's comprehensive pregnancy·childbirth·childcare website.
At the same time, TADA is also opening its own promotion for pregnant women, "Expectant mom TADA." "Expectant mom TADA" is a promotion that provides coupons to pregnant women living in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and they can use the pregnancy transportation point supported by Seoul. This year, reflecting user requests, the scope was expanded so that pregnant women residing in Gyeonggi Province can also participate.
The "Expectant mom TADA" coupons are characterized by being composed so they can be used flexibly depending on the situation, including a 5,000-won coupon and a 5,000-won reservation-only coupon, a 10% discount coupon, and a 30,000-won reservation coupon exclusively for Incheon Airport arrivals and departures. Coupons can be received and used from the TADA app.
A TADA official said, "Over the past year of operating the 'Seoul mom-and-dad taxi,' we have closely cooperated with Seoul to reflect requests from families with multiple children for additional car seat installation in the service," and added, "Based on Seoul's active administrative support, we will strive to innovate the mobility experience of families raising children and pregnant women and provide convenient mobility services that can be felt in daily life."
