Genesis, the premium brand of Hyundai Motor, on the 12th released model-year updates for the flagship luxury sports sedan "G70" and "G70 Shooting Brake," along with a new edition, the "G70 Graphite."
Genesis enhanced product competitiveness by making standard on the 2026 G70 and G70 Shooting Brake the comfort package that had been an option, which includes a head-up display, driver's seat position memory system, driver's intelligent seat, front passenger lumbar support (seat back support), and a power-adjustable steering wheel.
On the rear of the vehicle, all lettering was removed except for the "GENESIS" lettering to deliver a clean and modern rear design.
The G70 Graphite edition is a model that further emphasizes a sporty feel. It is offered with a single gasoline 3.3 turbo powertrain, features optimized driving and braking performance, and applies a wide range of convenience features, including exclusive sport interior and exterior specifications.
The G70 Graphite edition lowers ride height by 10㎜ for a more dynamic image. With the lower center of gravity, body response agility and driving stability are improved. Brake pad performance is also enhanced for better braking response.
The 2026 G70 is priced at 44.38 million won for the gasoline 2.5 turbo and 49.25 million won for the gasoline 3.3 turbo, while the 2026 G70 Shooting Brake is 46.33 million won for the gasoline 2.5 turbo. The G70 Graphite edition is 58.86 million won for the gasoline 3.3 turbo. These prices are for the 2WD model and include a 3.5% individual consumption tax.
A Genesis official said, "The newly released 2026 G70 makes various customer-preferred features standard, boosting product competitiveness, while minimizing the increase in the selling price to improve accessibility," adding, "The G70 model-year update and the G70 Graphite edition will allow customers to experience a differentiated G70."
