Eastar Jet Co. said on the 9th that starting May 1 it will be the first airline to operate the Busan–Almaty (Kazakhstan) route exclusively.
Eastar Jet Co.'s Busan–Almaty route will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.
The outbound flight departs Gimhae International Airport at 6:55 p.m. and arrives at Almaty International Airport at 10:40 p.m. (local time for all times below), and the inbound flight departs locally at 11:40 p.m. and arrives at Gimhae International Airport at 9:35 a.m. the next day.
The Busan–Almaty route is Eastar Jet Co.'s second Central Asia route, following the Incheon–Almaty route launched in Apr. last year. It is also the 10th route departing from Busan, following ▲ Gimpo ▲ Taipei ▲ Osaka ▲ Kumamoto ▲ Chiang Mai ▲ Phu Quoc, among others.
Eastar Jet Co. plans to continue expanding routes departing from Gimhae International Airport to improve travel convenience for local residents and broaden choices by discovering new destinations.
