Polestar 4 clearly made its presence felt last year in the fiercely contested domestic premium imported electric vehicle segment. It recorded cumulative sales of 2,611 units last year, standing out in the luxury electric vehicle competition.
Also, this figure is the highest-selling model among last year's "premium electric vehicles priced above 60 million won."
According to the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association (KAIDA), Polestar 4 recorded cumulative sales of 2,611 units from Jan. 2025 through Dec. 2025, surpassing models such as the Audi Q4 e-tron (2,475 units) to establish itself as the "No. 1 European electric SUV." It also achieved higher sales performance compared with major electric models from German premium brands, such as the BMW i5 (1,976 units).
The fact that Polestar 4 has become the best-selling model in a market long dominated by German premium brands is significant.
A Polestar Korea official said, "Polestar 4 becoming the top-selling model in the premium imported electric vehicle market is thanks to consumers recognizing its outstanding product qualities and the premium values the brand pursues," and added that they will continue to provide differentiated customer experiences this year and further solidify leadership in the luxury electric vehicle market through the forthcoming Polestar 3 and Polestar 5.
The commercial success of the performance SUV coupe Polestar 4 (Polestar 4) lies in the perfect harmony of innovative design and overwhelming performance. By eliminating the rear windshield and using a digital rearview mirror, it offers second-row passengers business-lounge-level generous space and openness while securing a wider rear view than before.
Also, the long-range single-motor model delivers excellent efficiency with a maximum driving range of more than 511 km on a single charge, and the dual-motor model boasts explosive acceleration with a peak output of 544 horsepower, reaching 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.8 seconds.
