CJ Logistics said on the 6th that it revamped the O-NE application (app) to improve convenience for using person-to-person (C2C) parcel delivery services.
With this revamp, the O-NE app strengthened its parcel acceptance features and added credit card and easy payment options for shipping fee payments.
Specifically, functions such as courier pickup request via driver visit and unmanned locker location search and reservation guidance were placed prominently on the app screen. It is aimed at enhancing convenience for customers who send parcels.
The app overhaul was carried out to strengthen personal parcel services based on the assessment that the individual delivery market, including secondhand trading, is emerging as a new growth breakthrough.
Even before this app overhaul, CJ Logistics has been expanding its influence in the individual parcel market based on the competitiveness of its seven-day-a-week delivery service "Maeil O-NE."
In Sep. last year, CJ Logistics also teamed up with Karrot Market to introduce the "Buy Now" delivery service for secondhand trading users.
Recently, together with the Korea Federation of Merchants Associations, it introduced a service that delivers products purchased by consumers using traditional markets to each household.
Yun Jae-seung, head of the O-NE division at CJ Logistics, said, "Based on differentiated delivery competitiveness, including seven-day-a-week delivery services across all regions nationwide, we improved services so that individual customers can use parcel delivery more conveniently."
