Mercedes-Benz official dealer HS Hyosung The Class said on the 29th that it extended its ambassador contract with top domestic racer Jeong Eui-cheol through 2026 and held a vehicle handover ceremony.
Jeong Eui-cheol will participate in customer invitation events hosted by HS Hyosung The Class as an instructor and directly convey Mercedes-Benz's driving performance and premium value to customers.
HS Hyosung The Class will continue its partnership with Jeong Eui-cheol in 2026 following 2025 and will support the high-performance SUV "Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+" as the sponsored vehicle. "GLE 53 AMG 4MATIC+" is a model that combines AMG's distinctive powerful performance with everyday driving practicality.
Jeong Eui-cheol is one of the veteran drivers who has reached 100 race starts on the domestic motorsports stage, and as of the 2025 season he set a new record in Korea's motorsports history by ranking first all-time in total podium finishes in the Superrace Championship 6000 class. He is evaluated as a representative domestic motorsports driver based on his outstanding skill, extensive experience and stable race management ability.
