The 7th Defense Industry Exhibition DX Korea 2026 secured sponsorship approval from all branches of the military, following official sponsorship approval by the Ministry of National Defense, including the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), Army Headquarters, Navy Headquarters, Air Force Headquarters, and Marine Corps Headquarters.
According to the DX Korea organizing committee on the 23rd, the Defense Industry Exhibition has been a specialized defense industry trade show held six times from its first edition in 2014 through 2024.
In particular, at this DX Korea 2026, because the entire military is sponsoring, weapons systems and core technologies aligned with each service's force development direction will be highlighted.
The organizing committee plans to strengthen a structure in which practical technology exchange and cooperation between the military and the defense industry take place and exhibition outcomes are linked to mid- to long-term force development and overseas projects.
The exhibition will cover a total of 104,000 square meters (54,000 square meters indoors and 50,000 square meters outdoors) and will be held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi, from Sept. 16 to 19 next year.
Park Han-gi, chair of the DX Korea organizing committee, said, "Taking this approval of sponsorship by all branches as an opportunity, we will significantly strengthen exhibition content that reflects combined, joint, and integrated operational concepts and future battlefield systems."
