CERAGEM Co. said on the 22nd that it won the consumer safety award in the senior safety institutional sector at the 3rd Consumer ESG Innovation Awards.
Marking its third year, the Consumer ESG Innovation Awards is jointly organized by ESG Consumer Initiative, the Korea Future Consumers Association, and the Consumer Rights Forum to expand corporations' ESG management from investor-centered metrics to consumer-centered practice. Based on the ESG Consumer Index, it selects award-winning corporations in five fields—consumer rights enhancement, consumer safety, product, distribution service innovation, environmental innovation, and win-win cooperation—through two rounds of expert evaluations and assessments by 50 consumers.
CERAGEM Co. has focused on developing senior-friendly products and services to support safe living and healthy lives for seniors. In particular, CERAGEM Co.'s Master V Collection is a spine care medical device certified by the Ministery of Food and Drug Safety for the treatment purpose of the spinal disease "degenerative stenosis," allowing seniors to use a medically verified product with confidence.
Master V9 and V11 are equipped with various safety features that carefully reflect seniors' physical characteristics. They include a reclining function that minimizes strain on the lower back and knees, and in the case of Master V11, one-touch auto reclining enables easy posture changes with a single button. In addition, reflecting the physical characteristics of older adults, a "senior mode" composed of gentler, safer massage programs and an intuitive touch remote control allow seniors to use the devices safely and conveniently.
