Hyundai Motor said on the 19th that it promoted Yoon Hyo-joon, head of the domestic support business division (senior director), to executive vice president and appointed him head of the domestic business division.
New Deputy Minister Yoon has built experience across various fields, including domestic sales, marketing and human resources. As head of the domestic support business division, Yoon oversaw workforce and infrastructure support to expand sales in the domestic market and strengthen competitiveness.
Hyundai Motor plans to maintain domestic sales competitiveness and pursue stable growth and enhanced profitability in its domestic business based on Deputy Minister Yoon's extensive experience and expertise.
Predecessor Kim Seung-chan, an executive vice president, was tapped earlier this month to succeed Executive Vice President Jung Yu-seok as head of the domestic business division, but is said to have recently tendered a resignation for personal reasons.
