Parata Airlines said on the 19th that it will operate Business Smart Class along with an expansion of international routes.
Business Smart Class is a seat offered on A330 aircraft flying to and from Japan and Vietnam.
Compared with the regular Comfort Class seat in a 2-4-2 layout, it uses a 2-2-2 layout and features wider pitch and width.
Compared with the Comfort Class seat pitch of 82 cm and width of 52 cm, it is wider by 104 cm and about 9 cm, respectively.
Business Smart Class seats began operating on the Japan Narita route on the 24th of last month and on the Vietnam Phu Quoc route on the 26th of the same month.
Parata Airlines also provides services for Business Smart Class customers such as use of a dedicated check-in counter, fast-track immigration, free access to airport lounges, priority boarding, and priority baggage handling.
In addition, in-flight meals and signature drinks, as well as a selection of various beverages and liquors including champagne, are provided to Business Smart Class passengers.
A Parata Airlines official said, "We designed it so customers can reasonably experience sophisticated premium service that goes beyond a simple seat upgrade."
