POSCO Group said on the 17th that it donated 10 billion won in year-end neighbor aid to the Community Chest of Korea. POSCO Group said nine group companies provided grants and delivered a fund of the same scale as last year despite an uncertain business environment.
The handover ceremony was held at the Community Chest of Korea hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the same day, with Shin Geon-cheol, head of management support at POSCO Holdings, and Community Chest of Korea Chairman Kim Byung-joon, among officials from both sides, in attendance.
Including POSCO Holdings, the group companies that provided grants this year are ▲ POSCO ▲ POSCO International ▲ POSCO E&C ▲ POSCO FUTURE M ▲ POSCO DX ▲ Posco Flow ▲ POSCO STEELEON ▲ POSCO M-Tech, totaling nine.
With this donation, POSCO Group's cumulative contributions to the Community Chest of Korea, to which it has delivered neighbor-aid funds since 1999, reached 212 billion won. The funds will be used for various projects to improve community welfare, including education support for future generations and self-reliance for vulnerable groups.
