BYD Korea is aggressively expanding its showrooms in step with Starfield. This time, it opened a new showroom at "Starfield Anseong."
BYD Korea announced on the 15th, "We have newly opened the 'BYD Auto Starfield Anseong showroom' in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, the center of the southern Gyeonggi living area."
This is already the fourth time BYD Korea has coordinated with Starfield. During that time, it opened city-mall–style BYD passenger showrooms at Starfield Market Ilsan, Starfield City Myeongji, and Starfield Village Unjeong.
The BYD Auto Starfield Anseong showroom is located on the second floor of Starfield Anseong, covering about 45 pyeong and able to display three vehicles. The showroom is operated by BYD Korea's official dealer DT Networks.
Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, is a transportation hub where the Jungbu Expressway and the Pyeongtaek–Jecheon Expressway intersect, and it is the center of the southern Gyeonggi living area that connects to Pyeongtaek, Cheonan, and Osan. Starfield Anseong has also established itself as a shopping hub and a central axis of a local commercial district with active family visits based on these regional characteristics.
BYD Korea places showrooms in mixed-use shopping malls like Starfield to naturally raise brand awareness within everyday consumer movement while proposing electric vehicles as a new lifestyle beyond a means of transportation. In shopping and culture-centered complex spaces, it focuses on providing family visitors and shopping customers with a "daily close-up" electric vehicle experience.
DT Networks CEO Kwon Hyuk-min said, "Because Starfield Anseong has high family-centered shopping demand and abundant foot traffic, BYD's eco-friendly value and technological capabilities will naturally reach many consumers," and added, "We will continue to make efforts to create an environment where many customers can see and feel electric vehicles close to their daily lives."
To commemorate the opening of the Anseong showroom, BYD Korea is offering welcome gifts such as BYD reusable bags and knit bags to showroom visitors through Dec. 31, and customers who take delivery of a new car at the Starfield Anseong showroom in December will receive a travel carry-on case.
Meanwhile, BYD Korea has continued to open city-mall–type showrooms within shopping and cultural complex facilities and Breeze showrooms that combine a café concept with car stores, steadily expanding environments where consumers can comfortably experience the BYD brand in their daily lives without having to set aside separate time.
Jo In-cheol, head of BYD Korea's passenger car division, said, "BYD Korea will constantly strive to ensure that customers enjoy the highest level of satisfaction in every process of understanding the BYD brand's value and products, building trust in the technology, and forming a relationship with the brand."
