Doosan Bobcat said on the 12th that it will unveil a raft of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies applicable to construction sites at CES 2026, the world's largest IT and home appliance trade show, to be held in Las Vegas next January.
At this exhibition, Doosan Bobcat plans to present answers to major challenges facing the construction industry, including a generational shift among skilled workers, efficiency losses due to equipment downtime, and increasingly complex job sites. On Jan. 5, the day before the show opens, it will hold a media day to announce Doosan Bobcat's vision for the future of construction sites.
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), about 40% of the total workforce in the U.S. construction industry is expected to retire by 2031. Doosan Bobcat is responding by introducing AI features that help any operator easily control equipment. For beginners, it provides real-time operating guidance, and for experienced operators, it helps improve precision and productivity.
It will also unveil an AI maintenance support solution that shortens maintenance time and maximizes equipment uptime. It analyzes equipment data in real time to quickly diagnose root causes and presents optimal fixes based on past maintenance records and technical support information.
It will also showcase technology that enhances safety in complex job sites. By introducing radar-based hazard recognition technology, it detects risks in real time and strengthens operator safety through collision warnings and more.
It will also unveil a next-generation control display, future-oriented concept products, and a prismatic battery pack among various innovative technologies.
