Himpel, a ventilation appliance specialized corporations, said on the 11th that it won a bronze rating in the "2025 ESG assessment" conducted by EcoVadis, a global sustainability rating agency. The EcoVadis bronze is a rating given to corporations within the top 35% of all assessed corporations, which is seen as recognition that Himpel's sustainable management activities meet global standards.
EcoVadis is a global sustainable management rating agency founded in France in 2007 that evaluates more than 150,000 global corporations every year across four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. EcoVadis' ESG assessment is a trusted sustainability indicator in global supply chains and is used by many global manufacturing and distribution corporations in partner audits and procurement policies.
In the 2025 EcoVadis assessment, Himpel recorded the highest score in the environment institutional sector. Its eco-friendly management system was recognized for reducing greenhouse gases and energy use and managing environmental impacts in the product manufacturing process.
In the labor and human rights institutional sector, its safety and health system and ISO 45001-based safety management activities received positive evaluations, and in the ethics institutional sector, it was recognized for responsible management capabilities such as enhancing accounting transparency, operating ethics training for executives and employees, and expanding ESG disclosures. In the sustainable procurement institutional sector, it was assessed to have a stable level of management in partner ESG risk management and supply chain operating policies.
