Doosan Group said on the 11th that it delivered 50,000 cups of "tea of love" and cash gifts to the Baekdusan unit (Army 21st Division) in Yanggu County, Gangwon Province.
Doosan Group has continued its social contribution program "sharing tea of love" for 35 years since 1991, bringing warmth to troops serving on the front lines in winter. The total number of cups delivered through this year exceeds 40 million. Starting this year, it is diversifying items to reflect soldiers' preferences, offering options such as matcha lattes in addition to coffee, and providing canned beverages that can be used during training.
Doosan has also been providing various support to the Baekdusan unit. In 2010, it established a barracks library, and in 2016 and 2018, it donated Doosan Bobcat equipment and attachments (auxiliary devices) to help with snow removal by soldiers.
Doosan Enerbility also plans to deliver "tea of love" this month to the military unit with which it has formed a sisterhood relationship.
