The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) said it will hold the "regional flagship industry video content contest" from the 10th to the 26th.
The contest is designed to easily convey, in short-form video content, outstanding technologies, products and innovation cases held by small and medium-sized enterprises in regional flagship industry fields across 14 cities and provinces at a level the public can understand, and to spread a positive perception of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Any video creator nationwide can participate, and details of the contest and submission methods can be found on the websites of the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) and the Korea Radio Promotion Association.
Entries will be judged through a comprehensive evaluation of originality and creativity of the video content, policy alignment and more, and a total of 30 winners, including grand and excellence awards for each of the 14 cities and provinces, will be selected. Winners will receive prize money of up to 5 million won.
Kwon Sun-jae, director general for regional enterprise policy at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), said, "Regional small and medium-sized enterprises are a key pillar that creates quality jobs and revitalizes local economies," and added, "We expect this contest to serve as an opportunity to spread awareness of small and medium-sized enterprises in regional flagship industry fields through creators' creative perspectives."
