Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) said on the 9th that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) to foster startups in the mobility sector.
The agreement was prepared for the two agencies to discover and nurture innovative startups in mobility and to build a sustainable co-growth ecosystem for small and midsize enterprises.
In particular, through the newly launched "Mobility AI Frontier Incubating Support Project," the plan is to support AI solution adoption and technology proof of concept (PoC) for startups in the mobility technology field.
In addition, to build a sustainable co-growth ecosystem, the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) will participate in the co-growth project led by the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED), and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) agreed to share its know-how in sustainability management disclosures with the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED).
Yu Jong-pil, head of the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED), said, "Through this cooperation, startups in the mobility technology field now have an opportunity to leap forward with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS)'s professional infrastructure and technical support," and added, "Going forward, the two agencies will work together so we can grow as public institutions leading startup support and win-win cooperation."
