The Korea office of global accelerator Draper Startup House (DSH) on the 9th appointed Oh Gang-rok, CEO of Promitheus, as head of the startup growth support institutional sector. It said the move aims to strengthen its capabilities in sourcing and nurturing startups.
Oh, the new head of the institutional sector, worked at Samsung Card and Samsung Life Insurance, and served as head of digital strategy at Samick Musical Instrument Group before leading business development and revenue growth strategies at Urbanbase, Greenlabs, and Business Canvas. Oh now runs Promitheus, which helps startups refine their business models, raise investment, and expand overseas.
Lee Se-yong, head of DSH Korea, said, "With Oh's addition, we have strengthened our full-cycle support system from idea discovery to market validation and fundraising."
DSH is a global startup platform led by Silicon Valley investor Tim Draper. It operates in more than 30 cities across 20 countries. It opened its Korea center on Garosu-gil in Seoul last year and later expanded to Pangyo and Songdo. It is also running LG H&H open innovation and global expansion programs with universities and institutions.
