Eastar Jet Co. said on the 3rd it will hold an open recruitment for cabin crew based in Busan. The hiring aims to support expansion of routes departing from Busan, with recruitment in the double digits.
Recruitment will be conducted from 10 a.m. the same day through the Eastar Jet Co. recruitment website, where detailed information such as eligibility can also be checked. Applicants will go through various evaluations and interviews before joining the company in January next year.
The process will proceed in the following order: ▲ document screening ▲ situational response interview ▲ physical fitness test ▲ executive interview ▲ hiring medical check. In particular, the situational response interview will evaluate problem-solving abilities through role-playing for each scenario.
The physical fitness test will check basic fitness needed for in-flight emergencies through long-distance running, back strength measurement, and decibel measurement. Applicants with strong Japanese or Chinese skills will be given preference, and nursing majors and those with related certifications will receive extra points.
An Eastar Jet Co. official said the hiring is for "new personnel in line with the expansion of routes from Busan to Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Okinawa, Kumamoto, Taipei, Chiang Mai, and Phu Quoc," adding, "We will select the most suitable talent for the cabin crew's core role as 'cabin safety officer.'"
