It develops core technologies that determine eco-friendly performance, such as essential thermal management devices for automobiles and emission reduction devices. It is currently expanding its portfolio with electrification and eco-friendly solutions to respond to the era of future mobility. Korens said the award was driven mainly by strengthening manufacturing competitiveness in the production and quality fields through the introduction of Smart Factory and digital processes, and improving management efficiency through digital-based innovation activities such as developing the KSC (standard cost) system. It added that maintaining business sites without labor disputes since its founding and strengthening safety management activities, such as joint safety inspections and establishing an emergency response system, also played a role.
Korens said that in the ESG management institutional sector, it is building a mid-to-long-term roadmap to improve supply chain evaluation scores and is continuing efforts to strengthen the win-win ecosystem, such as advancing partner quality management based on K-MOS. It is also expanding employment by operating a system to convert workers to regular positions.
