Samsung Heavy Industries said on the 27th that it carried out its regular 2026 executive appointments based on meritocracy.
This year's appointments total 12 people, including four vice presidents, seven managing directors, and one Master.
Master is an executive specializing in research and development, meaning a research and development expert who has delivered outstanding results.
Samsung Heavy Industries said the appointments focused on strengthening competitiveness in eco-friendly vessels; enhancing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) capabilities for floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) production facilities; and building smart, automated shipyards.
Samsung Heavy Industries is also expected to soon complete and announce its regular organizational reshuffle and position assignments.
