Every year at the end of the year, Hyundai Mobis' Yongin technology research center holds a mobility technology festival in which employees voluntarily participate.
This event, which symbolizes Hyundai Mobis' unique and innovative research and development culture, is an occasion to take stock of the results of ideas proposed by employees over the year.
Hyundai Mobis said on the 26th that it held the 2025 M.Fields Festa at its technology research center in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
This year M.Fields Festa drew the largest number ever, 1,170 ideas.
Of more than 1,000 ideas, six advanced to the final stage of M.Fields Festa that day.
On the final stage, idea proposers presented the development purpose and technical differentiators themselves, and about 300 employees gathered on site selected the best idea by real-time voting.
Kim Dong-gyu, a senior researcher at Hyundai Mobis who won the top prize, said in his acceptance remarks, "Rather than grand innovation, approaching it from the perspective of improving user convenience or functionality through small changes seems to have been well received."
Hyundai Mobis president Lee Kyu-seok attended the event that day to present the top prize and encourage employees.
