Parata Airlines said on the 25th it has begun operating the Incheon–Da Nang, Vietnam route, launching its second international route. Parata Airlines' first international route is the Incheon–Narita, Japan route, which began service on the 17th.
The first flight on the Incheon–Da Nang route was WE201, which departed Incheon International Airport at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th and arrived at Da Nang International Airport at 9:20 p.m. (local time).
Parata Airlines' first aircraft, an A330-200 introduced in July, was deployed on the route.
Chief Executive Yoon Cheol-min and other executives and employees held a send-off event at the boarding gate of Incheon International Airport to thank passengers.
Parata Airlines' Incheon–Da Nang route operates seven times a week. To differentiate, it offers a variety of in-flight meals, including a chicken-and-beer set.
Parata Airlines is also set to begin four weekly flights to Nha Trang and Phu Quoc, Vietnam, on the 26th.
Yoon Cheol-min said, "Employees prepared for Southeast Asia routes with one heart," adding, "Thank you for the strong interest shown in the first flight of the Da Nang route."
