Fire breaks out at Lotte Chemical plant in Seosan, no casualties reported

At about 8:54 a.m. on the 20th, a fire broke out at the LOTTE Chemical plant in Daesan-eup, Seosan-si, South Chungcheong.

It was reported that the fire was extinguished internally at the plant while fire authorities were dispatched to the scene.

Workers were in the plant, but all evacuated and there were no casualties, fire authorities said. Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
