Hyosung Group on the 19th carried out its 2026 regular executive appointments, promoting three executive vice presidents — Bae In-han, head of the Dong Nai subsidiary; Bae Yong-bae, head of the Nantong subsidiary in China; and Park Nam-yong, head of the Construction PU at Hyosung Heavy Industries — and 13 new executives, for a total of 29 people.
The appointments focused on those who achieved outstanding management results based on global capabilities despite an uncertain external environment and those who contributed to discovering and nurturing the company's future new growth engines. The company also promoted young and female talent to respond to intensifying global competition.
Executive Vice President Bae In-han joined the Hyosung Technology Institute in 1989 and took part in spandex development and production. He later led the expansion of global business in Vietnam, China, and India, helping spandex rise to the No. 1 product globally. Since 2023, as head of the Dong Nai subsidiary, he has led Hyosung TNC's global business.
Executive Vice President Bae Yong-bae is a technical expert who, after joining Hyosung Heavy Industries in 1993, built expertise and know-how in the design and production of ultra-high-voltage transformers. After serving as head of domestic sales (senior managing director) in 2022, he has led the expansion of Hyosung Heavy Industries' power business globally since 2023 as head of the Nantong subsidiary in China.
Executive Vice President Park Nam-yong is a construction specialist who, after joining Hyosung Construction in 1990, gained broad experience in on-site construction and sales and marketing. Since 2022, as head of the Construction PU at Hyosung Heavy Industries, Park has driven growth in the construction division.
Hyosung also placed young and female talent at the forefront. Jeon Jae-ha, head of the Sydney branch at Hyosung Heavy Industries, was tapped as a new executive in his 30s, just one year after being fast-tracked in 2024 to PL (Performance Leader, Director General level). Jeon, now a senior managing director, was recognized for pioneering new power markets in Oceania, including Australia, for Hyosung Heavy Industries.
Among the newly appointed female executives, Senior Managing Director Kim Su-jeong has demonstrated capabilities in product planning and global marketing since joining Hyosung TNS in 2011. Since 2021, Kim has served as Head of Team of the Marketing Team at the Global Sales Division. Senior Managing Director An Jeong-hee, since joining Hyosung TNC in 2016, as Head of Team of the Plate Team in Steel 1 PU, led the global expansion of the steel trading business centered on the Southeast Asian market.
